About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Associate at Hotel Co 51. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences to our guests.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Operate food and beverage outlets in line with Hotel Co 51's high standards.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Restock, receive deliveries, plan orders, and maintain the organization of back-of-house areas.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety policies.
  • Implement and maintain the FIFO system for food and beverage items.
  • Follow all food safety, licensing, and health and safety policies to work safely.
  • Support other crew members and follow direction from crew leaders, including covering shifts on the bar.
  • Promote and support the Hotel Co 51 brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.

Requirements

  • High energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to converse with guests in Italian and English.
  • Passion for food and beverage, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to multitask, balancing hard work with great service and thinking ahead.
  • Clear understanding of the importance of being relaxed and composed, rather than lazy.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in the service industry.
  • Knowledge of food safety and licensing laws.
  • Personal experience of travel and the travel industry.
