Atlas Copco is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our R&D Department.

Main Duties:

  1. Write and update User Guides with product descriptions and features.
  2. Develop Service procedures for product maintenance.
  3. Create Safety information.
  4. Manage images for documentation.
  5. Ensure documentation compliance with technical guidelines.
  6. Evaluate documentation effort accurately.
  7. Work with project teams for release planning.
  8. Manage translation processes.

Occasional activities:

  1. Provide support to the Line Manager.

Main Competences needed:

  1. Education: Degree.
  2. Fluent English, other languages a plus.
  3. Previous experience in the same role (3 years).
  4. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, mainly Word.
  5. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Curious, to support innovation development.
  7. Ability to clearly summarize complex procedures.

Nice to have:

  1. Knowledge of Schema ST4 CCMS.
  2. Knowledge of document compliance to EN standard.
  3. Basic certification on technical writing.
  4. Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
