Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Business Partner to join our team at Takeda. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to functional managers and employees at our manufacturing site in Pisa, Italy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement HR Strategy

Develop, oversee, and implement a localized HR strategy aligned with business objectives and local requirements.

  1. Recruitment and Talent Management

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners and Talent Acquisition Coordinators to ensure recruitment processes adhere to HR guidelines.

  1. Performance Evaluations and Compensation

Coordinate local performance evaluations and compensation reviews in compliance with company policies.

  1. Learning and Development

Direct local learning initiatives in accordance with the HR strategy and Talent Development Programs specific to the site.

  1. Employee Relations and Support

Provide recommendations to management based on issue analysis and assist people managers in finding optimal solutions for employees.

  1. Data Integrity and KPIs

Ensure the integrity of data in Workday, the HR management system, and monitor and enhance monthly HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  1. Internal Audit and Compliance

Address internal audit requirements as necessary.

  1. Contingent Workers and Vendors

Collaborate with third-party vendors on-site for effective management of contingent workers.

  1. Employee Engagement and Experience

Partner with Employee Experience/Engagement Partners to execute the Local Employee Experience Strategy (EES) action plan.

  1. Workforce Planning and Employee Data

Manage and support workforce planning initiatives and work with People Solutions to ensure accurate and timely handling of employee data changes.

Requirements
  1. Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's in Human Resources Management. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in HR within a dynamic international setting, specifically focusing on Manufacturing Operations.

  1. Skills and Competencies

Thorough understanding and application of labor laws at the national contract level. Demonstrated proficiency in leadership, with a strong emphasis on fostering diversity and inclusion. Exceptional negotiation skills coupled with a proven ability to manage conflicts effectively. Display of empathy and high emotional intelligence in professional interactions. Proficiency in problem-solving techniques to address complex HR challenges. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks and responsibilities. Strong organizational and planning abilities to streamline HR processes. Capacity for analytical thinking and creative problem-solving. Familiarity with HR software, with an added advantage of experience with Workday. Advanced proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office suite for business operations.
