Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Segment Manager to lead and direct sales in the assigned segment for Emerson's Machine Automation business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitable sales, growth, and market penetration towards OEMs and End Users, consistent with company plans, policies, and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate activities to promote the sale of industrial products and solutions in the assigned segment.
  • Develop direct personal contact with target accounts and conduct regular customer visits to build strong relationships.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of pricing strategies to increase penetration and improve profit.
  • Coordinate commercial negotiations with customers to drive business growth.
Strategic Planning
  • Contribute to the preparation of sales and business forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Report business performance on a monthly basis, providing detailed analysis of key metrics.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance reviews to ensure high levels of motivation and productivity.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Preferred Engineering or business degree with relevant sales or marketing experience.
  • Solid experience in sales environments for industrial products.
  • Ability to develop and grow employees in a sales team.
  • Solid presentation and computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Italian and English languages.
