Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power System Engineer to join our team at TN Italy.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing power subsystems for our satellite projects. This will involve analyzing power requirements, defining system architecture, and specifying technical documentation.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, particularly in power electronics and energy production. If you have experience in designing power systems and can demonstrate a thorough understanding of solar panels, then we would like to hear from you.

In this position, you will work closely with our engineering team to develop solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will also participate in technical meetings with subcontractors and clients to ensure that our designs meet their requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze power requirements and derive lower-level requirements
  • Define power system architecture
  • Specify performance, interface, and test requirements
  • Manage and review technical documentation
  • Participate in technical meetings
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Electronics or equivalent
  • Experience in power electronic system design
  • Strong knowledge of energy production with solar panels
  • Capability of power analysis and circuits simulation
  • Proficiency in MS Office package and software tools such as Matlab/Simulink, MathCad, Visual Basic, Spice
