Job Title: Director Supply Chain

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Director Supply Chain to join our team at Aenova, a leading contract manufacturer and developer for the pharmaceutical industry. As a Director Supply Chain, you will be responsible for building and managing a supply operations organization based on processes and procedures from product sourcing to customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers, and facilitate organic growth.
  • Build and manage a supply operations organization based on processes and procedures from product sourcing to customer delivery.
  • Create and implement inventory, demand, and supply allocation strategies to optimize inventory placement, turns, sales, and the overall customer experience through formalized S&OP.
  • Develop plans and methods for completing purchasing, inventory, and materials management to ensure that acquired goods meet cost and quality standards.
  • Support and maintain the Corporate framework of new and existing vendors while maintaining high operational and quality standards.
  • Conduct supplier risk assessments and develop/executive strategies to manage costs and ensure favorable partnerships.
  • Lead the team in alignment with broader organizational goals and ensure delegates work effectively and be a thought leader with respect to sourcing processes and policies.
  • Assess departmental performance, identify weaknesses, and implement operational changes to ensure the efficient flow of goods.
  • Develop trends and forecasts based on objective data for use in operations and purchasing decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by working with management using lean methodologies to develop and implement new procedures to streamline processes and identify inventory discrepancies, including Sales and Operations Planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business management, etc., or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ten plus years of experience in supply chain.
  • Strong planning, operations, and logistics background with a bias for delivering results in a dynamic environment through collaboration and creating healthy dialogue.
  • Three plus years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Previous work experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
  • Previous experience within the Pharmaceutical industry, preferred.
  • APICS, Six Sigma, or other related certifications a plus.
  • Proven ability to follow through with projects and meet commitments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen and communicate information in a clear, calm, and concise manner in both written and non-written forms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to think creatively and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills, driving issues to resolution.
