Job Description

Job Purpose and Activities

We are looking for professionals with at least 2 years of experience in the Information and Communication Technology sector in the banking industry, with the role of IT Program & Project Manager. Experience in managing and developing applications for credit management and provenance from software engineering companies or equivalent structures is required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and monitoring complex projects, the ability to manage relationships and integrate third-party suppliers, and a general knowledge of the sector's reference technologies. Experience with waterfall and Agile project methodologies is required. A team player with problem-solving skills and analytical abilities is needed to manage highly challenging project activities and development.

The resource will be inserted into a team that will follow complex projects for the digital transformation of application platforms in the cloud or in structured outsourcing for the management of concession phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will coordinate with the support of relationship structures and functional analysts the activities of requirement collection and business needs.
  • You will be responsible for collecting and preparing estimates, managing the assigned budget, and planning activities, also in teams with other colleagues.
  • You will develop and supervise the preparation of functional analysis documents and interaction with suppliers for software realization, following the various project phases, including testing, production release, and follow-up.
  • You will have the opportunity to integrate your training on Program and Project Management techniques and methodologies, Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • You will participate in designing a solution in a complex environment with high interaction and innovative technologies.

Required Experience

At least 1/2 years of experience in medium-complexity projects in the banking and financial sector.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competences
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of the main project phases of an IT development project and project planning and monitoring methodologies, estimation, and budgeting.
  • Experience in managing and developing applications.
  • Provenance from software engineering companies, banks, or equivalent structures.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Good relational and synthesis skills.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of credit processes and/or other areas of bank activity.
  • Ability to use project design and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  • Autonomy of work with English language.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge of Function Point estimation and planning methodology.
Optional Qualifications
  • Project experience in the credit concession area.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, relational databases, and Microservices architectures.
  • Possession of PMP certification and/or equivalent.
