About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Complex Project Director to join our Hansen Team. This exciting opportunity involves managing and coordinating complex projects involving the design, specification, configuration, and implementation of large-scale software solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management, a strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies, and excellent communication skills. As a Complex Project Director, you will be responsible for providing overall leadership on project implementations, directing technical and non-technical staff in simple to complex customer software implementation projects, and utilizing Jira to assist in bug tracking, issue tracking, and agile project management. Your expertise will include software implementation, customer support, and sales groups, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will also be expected to develop new business opportunities, maintain good relations with the existing customer base, and propose alternative customer solutions that yield added revenue.

About You

You are a seasoned professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. You have 3+ years of experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Your expertise includes Jira, software implementation, customer support, and sales groups, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are also comfortable with frequent travel (up to 20%) and have a strong desire to lead by example, take initiative, and promote knowledge-sharing behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

Support and provide overall leadership on project implementations, acting as the primary contact with the customer for all project-related issues. Direct technical and non-technical staff in simple to complex customer software implementation projects, ensuring work is completed on time and according to customer specifications and standards. Utilize Jira to assist in bug tracking, issue tracking, and agile project management, ensuring completed projects are properly documented and meet agreed-upon project specifications.
