We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Buyer to join our team in Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO). As a key member of our Procurement Department, you will be responsible for the complete management of material groups within Electronics and Connectivity/Software commodities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, be able to analyze complex supply chains, and have a proven track record of cost-saving ideas. You will also be responsible for scouting new suppliers and innovation, with a deep focus on Economics and Business Sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading price negotiations and mediating award decisions through a worldwide Bidder's List.
  • Analyzing the structure and activities related to the development of SW contents.
  • Experience in project management, ability to plan and coordinate activities related to technical evaluations, proof of concept, and implementation of new content related to both connectivity and standard components.
  • Excellent negotiation skills on both HW and SW components and services.
  • Identifying & Leading cost-saving ideas including supplier visits at plant.
  • Scouting for new suppliers and innovation with a deep focus on Economics and Business Sustainability.
  • Analyzing new market trends and derive acquisition strategies in the Electronic and Connectivity Commodities.
  • Knowledge of electronic components required.
  • Being an active player in the Group Commodity Meeting, aligning the Purchasing Strategy with the other Brands.
  • Early involvement in the Project to define the best Technology to match project needs & targets.
  • Working with the latest e-procurement solutions.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of the Office package.
  • Active member of cross-functional teams.
  • University Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Procurement / Supply Chain.
  • Proven know-how and experience in Electric and Electronics Components.
  • Excellent communication skills and aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Fluent English, German will be considered a plus.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Able to manage complex supply chains.
