About the Role

RINA is seeking a highly skilled Piping and Layout Specialist to join its team in the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design and layout of facilities to ensure accessibility and maintainability requirements are met.
  • Identify maintenance scenarios for equipment and select the most suitable handling procedures.
  • Ensure maintenance tasks can be accomplished by identifying maintainable equipment and locations, access areas, required mobile and fixed equipment, staging and laydown areas, and special tools.
  • Develop lifting and staging methods for complicated jobs involving heavy lifting.
  • Gather required documentation from project teams and vendors.
  • Attend plot plan design review workshops and follow up on open tags.
  • Attend 3D model design review workshops and follow up on open tags.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with oil and gas plant-related design documentation and drawings, including 3D models, plot plans, P&IDs, PFDs, SLDs, F&G layouts, data sheets, vendor manuals, procedures, etc.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D software, such as Autocad, Navisworks, SmartPlant, PDMS, and MS Office.
  • Good knowledge of common upstream and downstream oil and gas processing systems and equipment maintenance requirements.
  • Ability to maintain high technical quality of work delivery and project control.
  • Ability to prepare and justify maintenance work scope(s) and communicate plan(s).
  • Ability to communicate comfortably with senior management and technical specialists.
  • Good knowledge of the English language is mandatory.
