About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Training Lead to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. as part of our Hub Europe initiative. As a key member of our Engineering function, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our engineers across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our Engineering Teams across Europe to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training initiatives.
  • Design and implement effective recruiting and onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new colleagues.
  • Maintain our skills matrix and develop certification programs to enhance our engineering capabilities.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials and deliver training sessions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our learning and development initiatives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure our learning and development process.

Requirements

  • MSc in Engineering or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in an Engineering function, preferably in Transformers.
  • Strong people development skills, with international experience and intercultural sensitivity.
  • Experience with employer branding and talent acquisition.
  • Passionate about attracting, developing, and retaining individuals.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
