**Job Description**

We are looking for a Project Coordinator - Design Department to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and planning the activities of a group of design personnel, technicians, and specialists.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing project discipline workload and distributing work assignments to most effectively utilize staff and meet project established schedules;
  • Exercising sound judgment in assessing problem situations or complex issues;
  • Informing the Principal Engineer or Supervising Discipline Engineer when problems arise and of outstanding personnel issues, manpower changes, schedules, and unusual aspects of the work;
  • Reviewing completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes and design data;
  • Coodinating the efforts of the group with other discipline groups in an office or on the same project, and where necessary, establishing a sign-off program for all outgoing drawings;
  • Leading the development of manpower, man-hour, and labor cost requirements for design staff to satisfy project requirements and monitoring the effect of these on the budget;

**Requirements**

  • +5/8 years' of related experience in Engineering company;
  • Fluency in Italian and English;
  • Motivation, initiative, and organizational skills to work effectively in a busy multi-disciplinary environment;
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and digitally;
  • Reasonable flexibility and willingness to travel nationally to conduct site visits;
  • Strong personal initiative, agility, and resourcefulness;
  • * PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS *: Engineering Degree: Civil/Structural;
