About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Logistics Manager to join our team at Hitachi Rail in Turin, Italy. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role that involves coordinating logistics and supply chain activities across multiple projects.

The Role

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services to support project execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, optimize supply chain operations, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities across multiple projects, including procurement planning, inventory management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensure on-time delivery, and meet project budget and schedule targets.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with supply chain software.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range: €65,000 - €90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
