    Job Summary

    Tetra Pak is seeking a skilled Automation and Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical services and support to our customers, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.

    Main Responsibilities

    Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Defining automation solutions based on PLC, Scada, Industrial Networks, and virtual environments with high integration and information exchange with databases
  • Developing software for single units and large plants
  • Ensuring project quality assurance through FAT tests and validation tests protocol
  • Designing and reviewing technical documentation, including automation architecture, IP lists, electrical diagrams, instrumentation, and operator manuals
  • Building and maintaining good customer relationships and working proactively to analyze, decide, and act on customer needs
  • Under commissioning phase, driving automation, electrical, and instrumentation setup, as well as troubleshooting

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in automation or electrical engineering
  • High-level English language skills and native-level Italian language knowledge, both verbal and written
  • 4 years of proven experience in similar roles with good hands-on skills
  • Genuine interest in techniques and customer service with a focus on quality
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
  • Writing and reporting skills
  • Programming skills on Siemens TIA Portal
  • Programming skills on Step7 and HMI knowledge
  • Knowledge of food processing technology, including understanding of liquid behavior, temperature, and pressure
