Role Purpose

Vodafone is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Technical Specialist to drive the evolution of fixed network solutions for our customers.

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership

As an AI Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Autonomy: Working independently and making informed decisions.
  • Problem Solving: Effectively solving complex problems.
  • Time Management: Meeting deadlines and managing time efficiently.
  • Communication: Collaborating effectively with the team and communicating complex ideas.
  • Continuous Learning: Staying up-to-date with the latest technical skills and advancements.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

You will need:

  • Programming Languages: Deep knowledge of PHP and Python.
  • Database Management: Proficiency in data manipulation, including structured data tools (SQL) and unstructured data tools and platforms (Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL).
  • Artificial Intelligence: Advanced skills in artificial intelligence, particularly in machine learning and generative AI. Knowledge of machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, H20) and fundamental techniques (clustering, regression, time-series analysis).
  • Frameworks and Libraries: Familiarity with major frameworks and libraries for PHP, Python, and AI.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in software development roles, preferably in AI-related contexts.

Must-Have Technical/Professional Qualifications

You will need:

  • Deep knowledge of IP-networking (CISCO certifications or equivalents are preferred).
  • Knowledge of IT process development (ITIL certification is preferred).
  • Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience in Tech companies or software houses.

Key Performance Indicators

Your success will be measured by:

  • Compliance with PA activation plans.
  • Compliance with SLA on customer activation and GNP for PA.
  • Technical NPS and delivery quality indicators for PA.
