If you are looking for a dynamic workplace, we have an exciting opportunity for a 6-month Internship as a Junior Procurement Analyst to assist with international procurement initiatives and projects.

This role involves collaboration across various functions to achieve objectives related to cost, quality, delivery, reliability, and timely market entry. As a Junior Procurement Analyst, you will support all procurement efforts in designated programs to ensure preparedness for pre-pilot, pilot, and execution phases.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in formulating sourcing and procurement strategies alongside Offer and Project Teams. Recognize and document demand, and identify potential suppliers.
  • Contribute to the preparation and coordination of the RFx Process and develop sourcing strategies for suppliers and services.
  • Assist in drafting Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).
  • Participate in RFx development and preparation, including defining commercial terms.
  • Request quotations and evaluate contract proposals while leading the strategy formulation and negotiation of pricing, delivery, terms, and conditions for complex and specialized materials, equipment, components, and services.
  • Support the analysis of cost elements for commodity groups to pinpoint cost-saving opportunities. Engage in developing strategies and tactics to enhance supplier cost/value.
  • Utilize the corporate Approved Supplier List Process for sourcing needs.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's Procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist in contract preparation and the purchasing process.
  • Support the management of supply and supplier commitments post-purchase order or contract, including change and contract management.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English; additional languages such as Czech, Romanian, Polish, French, Italian, or Spanish are advantageous.
  • A motivated and ambitious individual eager to learn and grow professionally.
