Msc Cruises is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT Operations department, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and troubleshooting our IT infrastructure to ensure the highest level of availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee technical quality in IT operations projects
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure for Explora Journeys, adhering to established guidelines and SOP
  • Ensure systems and infrastructure availability at the highest levels
  • Relay cybersecurity for management of threats and vulnerabilities remediations
  • Collaborate with team members, suppliers, and business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
  • Apply industry best practices for change management process

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar position with experience supporting the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructures/systems and users
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
  • Experience with Cloud Operations
  • Experience with Application and Infrastructure monitoring
  • Additional knowledge or experience in application, scripting, and advanced log management is a plus
  • Proven experience in the cruises industry is required
  • Fluent in English, oral and written
  • Any other language is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical skills, methodical mindset, and attention to details
