Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Centre Project Director to lead our team in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion. This is a strategic leadership role that requires a deep understanding of data centre construction, people management, and client relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Development: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with your team and clients.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage project teams on continuous improvement techniques and standard methods for reporting results.
- Budget and Cost Management: Oversee comprehensive project budgets and monitor costs to ensure financial efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and providing regular updates on project progress.
Requirements:
- A degree or comparable experience in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or another construction-related discipline.
- Chartered or a member of a registered construction affiliate board/society (SCSI/RICS).
- Experience in data centre construction with higher levels of leadership and people management.
- A passion for building a global team and developing and encouraging employees through mentoring, coaching, and training on new techniques.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
