Job Summary:

Sidel is seeking a skilled Mechanical Tester to join our team. As a Mechanical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and qualifying Filler equipment in accordance with technical, contractual, and safety specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test machine mechanical performances at Sidel's production plant, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, and safety specifications.
  • Analyze and manage issues detected during mechanical functional tests to deliver equipment on time and without defects to Sidel's customers.
  • Deliver technical documentation, including final testing reports, to support equipment delivery.
  • Interact with other functions to resolve issues and propose improvements in machine functionalities.
  • Develop or implement modifications, settings, and tuning to resolve issues, in agreement with the technical department.
  • Define test procedures to internally qualify Sidel equipment, in collaboration with the engineering department.
  • Perform or support start-up of Filler machines at customer sites, as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design analysis and 2D/3D design principles.
  • Experience in assembling and testing complex machinery.
