At Alpitronic Americas LLC, we're seeking a skilled professional to spearhead our value engineering initiatives within the R&D department. This role involves sponsoring and driving the development of value improvement, cost reduction, and complexity minimization projects. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and value engineering throughout the organization.
Responsibilities• Promote and coordinate value engineering initiatives, collaborating with the R&D department to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Sponsor and drive development for value improvement, cost reduction, and complexity minimization projects, leveraging your expertise in product development and validation of electronic devices.
• Organize and lead technical workshops, fostering cross-functional collaboration and enhancing value and reducing costs.
• Establish and improve tools for teardown analysis and idea generation, driving a culture of continuous improvement and value engineering.
• Define and implement methodologies to understand strengths and weaknesses of different players, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the market and competitors.
• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a similar field.
• Proven experience in product development and validation of electronic devices.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers of electronic devices.
• Proficiency in value engineering methodologies, with a strong track record of leading complex value improvement projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical teams.
• Leadership qualities to guide and motivate teams, driving innovation and efficiency throughout the organization.
