Job Description
Aps Bank Plc is seeking a skilled Cards Operations Officer to join our team in the Operations department. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the day-to-day operations of the Cards Operations Unit run smoothly, impacting customers, financial stability, reputation, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out daily activities related to card issuing and maintenance, including reconciliation of card orders, mailing of cards, capturing of cards, checking and settlement of supplier invoices, and monitoring of card stock levels.
  • Monitor automated tasks, such as RPAs and uploading of card transaction files, and report any issues to ensure timely execution of critical processes within the unit's Service Level Agreement.
  • Support in preparing daily scheme clearing and settlement for Issuing and ATM Acquiring, monthly reconciliations, KPIs, and periodic regulatory reporting.
  • Handle and resolve incoming queries from branches, contact centers, and voice of the customer efficiently, responding to customer inquiries about Debit and Credit Cards.
  • Assist in processing Card Transaction disputes.
  • Maintain updated records of all card order and maintenance requests.
  • Process the monthly credit card statement run.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including ordering stationery and other functions essential to the proper operation of the unit.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess some knowledge in the area of card operations and should be able to work under pressure while maintaining excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must also be meticulous, take initiative, and possess excellent analytical skills. Additionally, they should be reliable, organized, and able to work independently when needed. A strong focus on quality of service and computer literacy are also essential qualifications.
