We are a forward-thinking real estate development company seeking a highly skilled and innovative Lighting Designer to join our in-house design team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-end hospitality projects in the UK and worldwide.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for collaborating with interior designers and architects to develop creative lighting concepts that enhance the design and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret client briefs and develop lighting concepts that complement and enhance the design
  • Produce detailed drawings, schedules, and 3D renders
  • Specify high-quality products and fixtures aligned with project goals
  • Adjust designs based on client feedback while maintaining functionality
  • Explore innovative materials and techniques to enhance future projects
  • Create installation manuals and documentation
  • Supervise lighting production
  • Create immersive experiences where physical space meets digital interaction
Requirements:
  • Degree in Lighting Design, Product Design, or equivalent
  • At least five years of professional experience in lighting design
  • Proven experience in high-end residential and hospitality projects
  • Good knowledge of material properties and solutions
  • Ability to think from small to big scale in spatial setups
  • Fluency in 3D software, Dialux, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite programs
  • Ability to produce sketch renders for internal reviews
  • Interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of meeting high industry standards
  • Portfolio sample of work
  • Professional level of English
Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with UK/EU building regulations
  • Hospitality design experience
  • Rendering and Animation software skills
  • Ability to work remotely
