Job Summary

The Mechanical Supervisor will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our electrochemical plant projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly activities of our plants, ensuring that all equipment, skids, and piping are installed and operated in accordance with contractual requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Guide the erection of equipment, skids, and piping by following engineering documentation and 3D models.
  • Ensure the correct interpretation of drawings and procedures provided by the company.
  • Coordinate vendor specialists and check that installation and operation comply with contractual requirements.
  • Establish a program for the completion of activities and report progress to the central office.
  • In case of EPC contracts, take over site management responsibilities and coordinate subcontractor teams.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical and chemical background.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in the chemical industry.
  • Good spoken and written English language skills.
  • Availability to travel and work at plant sites outside of Europe.
  • High attention to OSH topics and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse cultures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage stress situations.
  • Capability to prepare periodic reports to the headquarter.
  • Knowledge of IT tools, including MS Office and design software.
