About the Role

Civitanavi Systems Srl Unipersonale is seeking a skilled FPGA Verification Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for verifying the functionality of our FPGA designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test procedures to ensure FPGA designs meet requirements.
  • Collaborate with the FPGA design team to establish test priorities and coverage targets.
  • Define and implement verification methodologies, architectures, and infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain VHDL testbenches and FPGA functions for HW testing.
  • Execute test procedures through simulations and on-target tests.
  • Generate reports and verification matrices to ensure coverage of requirements.
  • Support designers in resolving RTL bugs and creating documentation.
  • Manage documentation and VHDL code in accordance with Configuration Management and Change Control procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in electronic engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in VHDL coding, simulation, and verification for FPGA.
  • Experience with EDA tools, such as HDL simulators and FPGA design tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of English language for technical documentation and project meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Mentor Questasim and Xilinx Vivado.
  • Knowledge of UVM/VMM/OVM Frameworks or System Verilog.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as SVN or GIT.
  • Experience with DO-254 standard and FPGA design flow.
