Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TV Programmer to join our team at Costa Crociere S.p.A. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and functioning of the TV system on board, as well as organizing the TV schedule.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operate the TV and broadcast equipment, ensuring that it is used in accordance with company procedures and safety protocols.
  • Cooperate with the Cruise Director and entertainment staff to organize and enhance TV and video services.
  • Transmit TV and radio programs as instructed by the TV Director, and ensure that the systems are functioning correctly.
  • Record activities, travel talks, and events to enrich the TV programs available to guests.
  • Assist with minor requests related to guest cabin TV systems, such as tuning channels and replacing cables.
  • Prepare technical equipment and check the quality of playback or shooting for various activities.
  • Handle Play Stations for guest rental, setting up and removing them in guest cabins as needed.
  • Ensure maximum attention and care for safety procedures on board, and report any equipment problems to the TV Director.
  • Provide support and assistance during ship visits from shore-side technical personnel or inspections of technical equipment.
  • Keep the work area and equipment lockers tidy, and show respect for company equipment.
  • Cooperate with the TV Director in updating the inventory of equipment under responsibility.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain a cooperative attitude, as the quality of others' work depends on mutual cooperation.
Job Requirements
  • High school degree with specialization in TV Direction, Video Editing, lighting, and graphics, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in editing, cameraman, graphic, and TV direction.
  • Knowledge of video, lighting, graphics, and camera equipment.
  • Good English knowledge.
