Corporate SAP Application Support Specialist

Gualapack Spa is seeking a skilled SAP Application Support professional to strengthen its Information Systems management at a global level.

This role is part of the Corporate Support team and will be the first point of contact with the global Business user community that operates the various SAP S/4HANA modules.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic SAP Application support to both management and users independently.
  • Keep track of SAP incidents, understand the priority, perform high-level analysis, and take ownership of issue investigation and resolution.
  • Search for solutions to complex issues, in collaboration with the internal CORPORATE IS team and the external SAP Certified partner when needed.
  • Support the Business for any knowledge gaps in SAP S/4HANA modules as required for the current assignment.
  • Keep track of Business requests for either services or enhancements and participate, together with the internal CORPORATE IS team and the external SAP Certified partner, in the implementation phase as required.
  • Monitor the external SAP Certified partner response and implementation time in accordance with the defined SLA.
  • Understand how business processes operate to better solve problems and define solutions.
  • Available to provide support on Siemens OpCenter MOM Suite (MES, BI, Scheduling) and other Enterprise business applications, if required.
  • Participate in any testing as required and SAP roll-out activities as needed.
  • Properly escalate to the SAP Team Leaders as needed.

Required Skills and Education:

  • At least three years of hands-on experience in SAP Application.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferable.
  • Good knowledge of English as a second language.

Key Competences:

  • Good SAP knowledge in the operation stream: Production Planning, Finite Capacity Planning, Procurement, Quality Management, Plant Maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of MES systems and business models and business processes in the manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to work under stress, meeting assigned deadlines, and planning and Organization.
  • Ability to work independently but as part of an international team, open to change and resilient.
  • Negotiation skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive approach & willingness to learn and gain SAP and Siemens OpCenter knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel and good communication skills (written, verbal, and face-to-face).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with different teams and good knowledge of MS Office 365 main collaborative tools.
