Housing Manager

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Manager to join our team at the Air Force Institute Of Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, management, administration, coordination and implementation of housing management programs across multiple sites.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least one year of experience in a similar position, with expertise in housing management, program administration, and enterprise Military Housing (eMH) database management. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities: As a Housing Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and administering housing programs, including unaccompanied housing, residential communities, and privatized army lodging;
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery;
• Providing training and briefing to staff on housing management procedures and policies;
• Implementing and evaluating program performance metrics and making recommendations for improvement;

Requirements: To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service;
• A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or three (3) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree;
• A combination of education and experience that meets the minimum requirements;
