AUDIT ASSOCIATE ​

In this role, associates collaborate with a diverse range of companies across various sectors. They cultivate robust working relationships with clients, focusing on understanding their operations and challenges. Associates engage in multiple team assignments each year, contributing to various aspects of each project, rather than limiting themselves to a single task. Key Responsibilities: ​

Grasping clients' requirements and expectations, along with their business and industry, accounting and control systems, workforce, corporate values, and industry-specific GAAP and GAAS considerations​ Gaining familiarity with the RSM audit methodology and tools​ Identifying risks and assessing the client's internal control framework​ Executing substantive tests and internal control assessments to pinpoint and rectify accounting or reporting discrepancies​ Preparing financial statements in accordance with established formats

Basic Qualifications: ​

A minimum of a B.A / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited institution upon commencement of employment​ Major in Accounting​​ Willingness to travel to designated client sites is essential. Must have access to reliable transportation options​ Ability to travel up to 25%​ A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred

At RSM, employee compensation reflects their experience, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range for this position considers various factors, including education, skills, work experience, and location. Therefore, compensation for successful candidates may vary within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $63,360 - $75,600

Selected candidates will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and firm performance.
