Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned VP of Logistics & Operations to drive operational excellence across our marketplace. As a strategic leader with deep logistics expertise, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of Everli's day-to-day delivery operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operational Improvement: Improve current operations (processes, teams, and tools) to build a highly efficient, performance-driven organization.
  • KPI Tracking: Define, implement, and monitor key operational KPIs, focusing on same-day availability, reducing unfulfilled orders, minimizing late deliveries, and ensuring performance of area managers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and CTO to optimize Everli's logistics strategy, provide strategic input on operational needs and innovations, and ensure alignment between operational processes and the technology platform.
  • Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing operations team, develop incentive structures, training programs, and clear growth pathways for team members to drive efficiency and accountability.
  • Delivery Optimization: Ensure high service levels across 60+ cities by optimizing delivery and fulfillment strategies, including efficient shopper scheduling, route planning, and partnerships with supermarkets.

Requirements

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management roles, with experience in managing or building gig-economy or logistics workforce networks.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to define and track performance KPIs, analyze data to derive insights, and translate those insights into actionable operational strategies.
  • Results-Driven Leadership: Proven track record of rigorously enforcing a culture of accountability and results across operations teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: A roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style – you are not afraid to get involved in day-to-day operations.
  • Team Management: Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in building and restructuring teams, mentoring managers, and fostering a high-performance culture.
