Development Department

The Development team is responsible for the entire process flow of delivering physical data centers, from shovel-ready state through commissioning. They work closely with Sales, Operations, and management to ensure seamless project execution. The team also manages Vantage's build partners, providing technical feedback and review to ensure successful project outcomes.


Job Summary

Vantage is seeking an ambitious Senior Project Manager to drive excellence in project management, systems usage, standardization, and coordination efforts across a wide spectrum of ongoing construction projects. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and collaborative working environment, ensuring effective communication between the wider Vantage team, consultant team, and contractors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish communication protocols between the Vantage team, consultant team, and contractors.
  • Develop and manage the Change Management Process for the project.
  • Lead the Vantage team, consultant team, and contractors in establishing key project processes to ensure project delivery.
  • Monitor project performance and report to the Construction Director.
  • Proactively manage and monitor the performance of the consultant team, contractor, and vendors.
  • Support discussions with neighbors and other third parties, including logistics plans and delivery schedules.
  • Review the General Contractor's Construction Plan, Site Logistics Plan, Health & Safety Plan, and Quality Plan prior to construction start.
  • Lead the project site teams, consultant team, and contractor for Value Engineering exercises and related optioneering/feasibility studies.
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with Vantage HSE requirements.
  • Undertake regular Site inspections and obtain progress and quality reports from the consultant team and contractor.
  • Agree all test certificates and statutory and non-statutory approvals required from the Professional Team and the Contractor.
  • Manage the consultant team and contractor to prepare reports to the Construction Director on the implications of any proposed variations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Construction/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
  • Italian language mandatory.
  • At least B-level of English.
  • Data center experience preferred.
