Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled ESG and Supply Chain Specialist to join our Global Purchasing Team. In this role, you will assist in the development and implementation of ESG requirements for all Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the sustainability champion and subject matter expert (SME) for the Global Magna MML Purchasing team
  
• Interface with Magna International (Supplier Management) and our MML Global Organization to coordinate ESG supply chain related activities
  
• Implement data tracking tools to support Tier N mapping and identify supplier risks
  
• Continually track and update Magna MML requirements based on new ESG regulations
  
• Support Global Commodity Management to review supplier dashboards and overall business reviews
  
• Develop ways to embed supplier performance and progress into procurement ways of working
  

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated success in satisfying OEM's and Tier 1 suppliers in a complex automotive market. You should have functional experience in areas such as strategic planning, manufacturing, purchasing, supply chain management, and supplier quality.

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, manufacturing, engineering, business, or related discipline is required. At least 2 years of experience working with ESG programs, including familiarity with local, state, US federal, and European regulations, is preferred.
