Kerry Group Plc, a leading global taste and nutrition company, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production and manufacturing equipment.

About the Role

This position is part of our Maintenance Department and requires a high level of mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be expected to:

  • Adhere to all established safety policies and procedures, including Kerry LIFE Safety, Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, and processing policies;
  • Perform regular services to internal customers, including preventative maintenance procedures and predictive maintenance procedures;
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and work with team members to achieve the highest efficiency;

The ideal candidate will have at least 1.5 years of industrial maintenance experience and advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery. Electrical knowledge of industrial machinery is also essential. Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions is crucial. Median computer and report writing skills are required. Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and repairing production and manufacturing equipment;
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment;
  • Performing regular (continuous) services to internal customers;
  • Preventative maintenance procedures;
  • Predictive maintenance procedures;
  • Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns;
  • Working with team members to achieve the highest efficiency;
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan. We also offer opportunities for professional growth and development.

Location

This role is based in a food manufacturing plant, and you will be required to work in a warehouse environment. You will need to be able to kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions, and perform elevated work. Ability to work in hot, cold, or wet environments is also required. Ability to lift 50 pounds and work overtime is necessary.
