Job Title: IT System Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to join our team at Michael Page. As an IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating the provision of IT Support Services and other Technology services within our local office(s)/region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction within the IT Support Services function.
  2. Team Management: Manage, lead, and supervise the Support Services function and team within a particular office and region.
  3. Technology Services: Develop, provide, manage, and revise Technology services and standard procedures in the areas of Service Delivery, Operations, Security, Applications, and Project deployment.
  4. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and user forums within a particular office and region.
  5. Goal Setting: Set targets and goals for improvement as directed by Firm Strategy.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Work with Service Delivery to devise and implement continuous improvement processes for the Support Services function.
  7. Practice Standards: Promote practice standards based on ITIL.
  8. Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the duties of the Support Service team to provide support services within the local office and region.
  9. Customer Service: Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.
  10. Call Queue Management: Monitor the call queue within Service Manager to ensure calls are resolved efficiently.
  11. Equipment Inventory: Manage and maintain equipment inventory records.
  12. Audio Visual Support: Support and guide the Audio Visual team with the coordination and setup of all conference room booking requests.
  13. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of procedures and ensure these are reflected in the Service Manager Knowledge Base.
  14. Technology Services Provision: Coordinate the provision of other Technology services within a local office and region.
  15. Security Policy: Ensure adherence to the Technology Security policy.
  16. Meetings and Collaboration: Participate in meetings related to the activities of the IT department or related projects.
  17. Team Collaboration: Contribute to team effort through communication, cooperation, and coordination with other team members.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration is strongly preferred.
  2. Experience: 5+ years of progressively responsible work experience within a legal or other professional service organization.
  3. Technical Skills: Experience in managing automated information systems.
  4. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex systems information effectively.
  5. Problem Solving Skills: Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  6. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills.
  7. Multi-Tasking: Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Arrangements:

This is an onsite role based in our Tampa office, with potential for travel. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Technology Support.
