Job Summary

Alira Health is seeking a Senior Biostatistician to provide statistical and methodological input for studies in Phases I-IV and across studies for submission in various therapeutic areas and settings.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Carry out tasks assigned within timelines and quality standards.
  2. Supervise biostatisticians on tasks carried out.
  3. Prepare Statistical Analysis Plans.
  4. Write statistical methodology and results sections of reports.
  5. Provide statistical input to protocol design and review.
  6. Prepare and perform trainings on statistical methodology and principles.
  7. Review statistical analysis and specifications of clinical trials.
  8. Perform sample size calculations.
  9. Write Blind Review plans and reports.
  10. Write and review statistical parts of scientific articles.
  11. Prepare and review Statistical Analysis Plans.
  12. Advise on statistical methodology and principles.
  13. Participate in Blind Review meetings.
  14. Support presentations to clients and manage technical communications.
  15. Create SAS programs for dataset validation.
  16. Prepare and perform training on statistical methodology and principles.
  17. Participate in DMC/DSMB meetings.
  18. Support DMC/DSMB charter preparation.
  19. Review analysis dataset specifications.
  20. Conduct other activities as required.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Biostatistics.
