At Generali Italia, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team as a Financial Planning and Analysis Intern. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of our financial strategy, planning, and controlling activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance team in defining plans and budgets for GenAM, in accordance with the strategic guidelines set by the Top Management of the Company.
- Work on reviewing the models for revenues calculation and simplify existing processes, in order to gain in efficiency and accuracy.
- Revenues and costs analyses, including plan deviations or year on year analysis.
- Be supportive in developing and implementing consequential actions to make sure that targets are met.
- Support managers on assessing new business opportunities.
- Be one of the main stakeholders for the finance team, responsible for ensuring the quality of finance data.
Requirements:
- Degree in Economics or Finance, with top-grades.
- Very proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Comfortable with working under pressure and with tight deadlines.
- Very fluent in written and spoken English.
- Meticulous, analytical, and a team player.
- Multitasking approach, able to deal with multiple issues and multiple projects in parallel.
- Analytics mindset, with ability to get deep in the details as well as grasping the bigger picture and the business dynamics quickly.
- Self-starter, proactive, adaptable, and able to prioritize to meet strict deadlines.
