Structural FEM Analyst

Come a key member of our team at Capgemini Engineering, you will be involved in projects primarily related to the Space and Defense industry, working within our Mechanical and Physical Engineering practice.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Creating and maintaining FEM structural models of systems, subsystems, and equipment;
- Performing static and dynamic FEM structural analyses;
- Supporting designers in the development of mechanical and thermal projects;
- Supporting the project team during environmental qualification testing;
- Preparing analysis reports and technical notes;
- Participating in design reviews and technical meetings.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A solid understanding of environmental mechanical requirements (static accelerations, vibrations, shocks);
- At least two years of experience as a FEM analyst for systems, subsystems, and equipment;
- Operational knowledge of Altair Hypermesh/Hyperview for pre/post-processing and Hexagon (MSC) Nastran as a solver;
- Optional knowledge of Hexagon (MSC) Patran for pre/post-processing;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team spirit, and ability to promote collaboration and proactive problem-solving.
Requirements: A Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering; excellent English language skills and willingness to relocate.
