We are seeking a Costing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the definition and maintenance of our competitive Cost/Pricing System for NGI products/services.
Key responsibilities include analyzing and managing customer requests for quotation, in compliance with company rules, objectives, current legislation, contractual terms, and company policies.
The position is located in Italy.
Job Responsibilities:- Analyze customer requests for quotation and support proposal development, conducting industrial cost and margin analysis.
- Negotiate with customers by simulating changes to cost/price analysis and reprocessing data to ensure best price definitions.
- Draft RACS/Gate Review documents and participate in meetings with Division and/or Sector teams.
- Prepare Risk Plans through cash flow calculations and profitability analysis for future contracts and sub-contracts.
- Benchmark costs and maintain cost models for NGI products, interfacing with departments contributing to company costs.
- Define and propose price revisions for contracts and subcontracts subject to this clause, using market analysis.
- Support offer generation and order management processes.
- Master's Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Postgraduate training or certifications (e.g., MBA, CIMA) are desirable.
Minimum 4 years' experience in management control or pricing roles in manufacturing companies, preferably in regulated sectors like defense, aerospace, or high-tech.
