Société Générale Assurances has established a strong presence in Italy, operating through a dedicated Italian bank, SGSS. As a key player in the Securities Services sector, we cater to a diverse clientele, including Financial Institutions, Brokers, Asset Managers, and Insurance firms. With a workforce of over 500 professionals in Milan and Turin, we provide exceptional support to more than 300 clients, including institutional investors such as insurance companies and pension funds.
Role Summary:
The Custody and Issuer Services Specialist will engage in daily operations related to Corporate Actions for various companies and public issuers, as well as managing clients' cash and securities accounts to facilitate event settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering information from custodians and conducting a thorough analysis of events
- Preparing comprehensive information packages for clients
- Processing events within our IT systems to communicate details to beneficial holders, facilitate order collection, and manage proceeds in clients' accounts
- Addressing client inquiries and complaints by providing effective solutions
Candidate Profile:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics or Social Studies
- Previous experience in the Financial Industry is advantageous
Language Proficiency:
- Italian – C2
- English – B2
Technical and Soft Skills:
- Proficient in Office and Microsoft 365
