About the Role

The Commodity Sourcing Manager plays a vital part in the Purchasing team at MERMEC, focusing on the procurement of diverse commodities, materials, services, and equipment. This position involves managing needs expressed via RDA in the MRP tool, seeking and negotiating offers, issuing purchase orders, and confirming orders.

Main Objectives:
  • To identify and select high-quality suppliers that meet the company's requirements.
  • To analyze market trends and suppliers' offerings to make informed decisions.
  • To develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • To monitor and improve supplier performance to ensure the best value for the company.
Essential Skills:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English language.
