Trevi Group is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of:

BUYER

The selected candidate will join the Procurement team and will play a crucial role in evaluating both domestic and international purchasing markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the procurement process for designated goods and/or services in alignment with the purchasing strategies and policies established by the Procurement Manager.
  • Administer contracts, negotiate pricing, and establish purchasing terms and conditions with assigned suppliers.
  • Track and analyze price trends for materials and components under their purview.
  • Assist in the enhancement of the supplier base to identify more advantageous procurement opportunities.
  • Engage in cost reduction initiatives such as resourcing and design-to-cost activities.
  • Manage the purchase order process in accordance with received requests and company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other business units to address issues related to quality, projects, and deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within engineering firms.
  • Proficiency in technical drawing, manufacturing processes, and cost estimation techniques.
  • Experience in procuring metal components based on technical specifications.
  • Competence in using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office tools.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • Strong negotiation skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes.
  • Effective reporting skills.
