Maintenance Operations Manager

About the Role
Kenvue is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing and developing our maintenance team to improve corrective and planned maintenance practices, increasing production line performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with maintenance process rules and procedures, adapting to specific business unit needs.
- Guarantee the execution of corrective and planned maintenance interventions, as well as continuous improvement activities, to maintain production machine efficiency.
- Supervise technical maintenance staff to improve their professional level and ensure maximum department efficiency, addressing breakdowns effectively.
- Coordinate complex problem analysis and resolution in the area of origin, supporting team members in analyzing complex problems managed by processes improvement engineers.
- Manage assigned resources, including individual performance management cycles, and collaborate with area production managers for autonomous line group management team deployment.
- Coordinate and supervise external companies to perform work in compliance with established technical guidelines and safety standards.
- Develop and monitor metrics for machine performance reliability and maintainability.
- Ensure presence at productivity meetings, identifying actions with production staff to reduce unplanned equipment breakdowns.
- Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules through loss data analysis, close collaboration with reliability and production teams, and direct responsibility for schedule execution and timely notification to production and planning departments.
- Contribute to spare parts warehouse management, optimizing stocks and ensuring part availability and obsolescence management.
- Ensure human resources' skills adequacy through periodic assessments, identifying effective and timely management, training, skills, and motivation development solutions.
- Support technical staff in using the CMMS system for managing maintenance department work orders.
- Support and manage plant projects, adhering to area responsibility and experience, from basic requirements development to complete implementation, in compliance with investment plans, contractual, and safety constraints, adhering to current regulations on safety at work.
- Verify personnel behavior, working environment, machinery, and installations are healthy and safe.
- Verify internal procedures and rules on environment, safety, and occupational hygiene are known, applied, and respected by staff.
- Ensure staff perform required health surveillance and training.
- Ensure updating of one's own technical and general knowledge and that of all people in one's area of responsibility through timely and continuous technical training.
- Ensure correct creation, application, and updating of SOPs in line with Compliance and GMP regulations.
