Job Description:

Axalta is seeking a skilled Technical Service Specialist to join our team in Pistoya.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and service to customers, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Work with Axalta Sales and Technical resources to deliver the best outcomes for customers.
• Manage customer relationships, including technical support, line issues, supply chain support, and future planning.
• Provide technical direction and assistance to customers on the use of products, serving as an expert with a working knowledge of multiple technologies.
• Support new customer start-ups and business development opportunities, managing existing CV accounts in Italy and developing networks/relationships with potential new CV customers.

• Cultivate a strong team culture by enhancing and building highly effective and collaborative cross-functional relationships throughout the business.
• Continuously identify ways to improve by engaging with staff and bringing perspective on new ideas.

Requirements:

• Paint skills, including colour knowledge, paint application knowledge, and defect ID knowledge.
• Instrumentation knowledge, including BYK Gardner, RIQ, X-Rite, Gloss, and dft.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Knowledge of mix room functions, including inventory control, usage, and material validation.
• Ability to collect and validate data, including appearance, film builds, and colour.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Italian and a good level of English.
