Position Overview
Kyndryl is in search of a seasoned Technical Solutions Manager to engage with significant projects across both Public and Private sectors.
The ideal candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams through intricate consulting projects, ensuring the delivery of substantial value to our clients. Utilizing profound domain knowledge, consulting methodologies, and a compassionate approach, they will assess challenges, devise, and implement innovative solutions.
A key aspect of this role involves establishing and nurturing robust relationships with client stakeholders. A comprehensive understanding of cloud computing, data technologies, business drivers, managed services, and deployment strategies is essential for applying these concepts effectively.
Leadership and Financial Acumen
The candidate must possess strong leadership capabilities to guide extensive teams and clients in shaping solution strategies and scopes. Financial literacy is crucial, enabling the assessment and comprehension of financial models and calculations.
Additionally, experience in creating, evaluating, and negotiating contracts is highly valued.
The Technical Solutions Manager will exhibit exceptional communication skills, articulating the impact and business advantages of Kyndryl's solutions while managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
This role involves creating and marketing PaaS, IaaS, and Infrastructure Services Solutions that provide significant value to clients. The Technical Solutions Manager will lead technical teams on complex consulting projects, integrating Kyndryl and market value assets to develop solutions and cost cases for intricate, long-term opportunities that align with customer needs and address their business challenges.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and documenting the overall solution architecture.
- Evaluating and selecting suitable technologies and platforms for solutions.
- Ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
- Providing technical guidance and support to development teams.
- Collaborating with sales teams to align technical and commercial strategies.
- Engaging with clients approximately 40% of the time.
- Selling managed services solutions and leading expert teams across various IT domains and regions.
- Coordinating the development of complex, long-term custom solutions and cost cases.
- Ensuring high-quality services and solutions that fulfill client requirements and align with Kyndryl's strategic goals.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:

Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Existing Architect Level Certifications in Hyperscaler, Network, Digital Workplace, or Security.
- Strong understanding of market trends, competition, and technology developments.
- Proven project management skills with experience in relevant projects.
- Practical experience in Transition and Transformation initiatives.
- Sales and negotiation expertise, teamwork capability, and an agile working style.
- Fluency in both Italian and English.
