About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Olpidürr S.p.A. in a multinational company of the industrial sector. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing the commissioning of various systems, ensuring all safety, quality, and operational procedures are followed during the commissioning phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and execute the commissioning of various systems, including paint lines, air purification systems, and monitoring software.
  • Perform tests and inspections to ensure systems meet design specifications and identify any deviations from the planned outcomes.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and system malfunctions, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to outline the scope and timelines of the project, configuring and calibrating instrumentation to match specifications.
  • Record, analyze, and interpret test data, preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, such as mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position in a multinational company of the industrial sector, preferably in the environmental sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, with Italian being a plus.
  • Ability to work on technical drawings and specifications, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both technical and non-technical settings.
  • Strong customer focus and willingness to engage for collaborative success of all projects, with goal-oriented, well-organized, and analytical/reasoning abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Projects, with knowledge of SAP being a plus.
