Chief Maintenance Officer

The Chief Maintenance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance activities within a luxury hotel. This includes ensuring the proper functioning of all plants and structures, and collaborating with hotel departments to provide an impeccable service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing the maintenance team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Performing and supervising routine and emergency maintenance tasks on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems.
  • Planning and monitoring the maintenance schedule for preventive and periodic inspections.
  • Managing external suppliers and contractors for specialized and complex work.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and technical regulations.
  • Collaborating with hotel management to optimize operational costs and propose innovative solutions for energy efficiency and system improvements.

Requirements:

  • Technical diploma or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and the ability to apply them in the workplace.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software.
