The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Broadcast Engineer to join our team based in Brugherio, Italy. As a key member of our Broadcasting Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing system support for our broadcast infrastructure and supporting end-users. Your primary focus will be on resolving complex incidents and problems related to broadcasting systems, ensuring seamless live production and distribution to our linear and streamed platforms.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for broadcasting systems in our live production environment, distribution to linear and streamed platforms, as well as web streams and social media.
  • Accountable for equipment specifications, system design, and installation.
  • Project work, including research, installation, and configuration.
  • Evaluation and testing of broadcasting equipment and systems.
  • Creation and review of standards and operating procedures for broadcasting infrastructure.
  • Subject matter expert for broadcasting disaster recovery planning, implementation, and execution.
  • Manage support incidents for all broadcasting systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or relevant working experience.
  • Minimum of two years of recent and directly related Broadcast Engineering experience in a television broadcast environment.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting broadcast equipment and systems.
  • Experience working with broadcast cameras, video switchers, audio, and data.
  • Knowledge of video over IP and basic network skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly and patiently to users.
  • Fluent Italian and good English language skills.
