About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Integrated Solutions team in Italy. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and support of Sysmex ICS projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-sales:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of pre-sales processes, bids, and after-sales support.
    • Lead the execution of ICS projects within Sysmex, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
    • Provide expert support for all offered ICS solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the laboratory workflow and participate in its optimization.
  • Installation:
    • Install and configure Sysmex Software solutions, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
    • Install and configure IT hardware, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
    • Provide remote access to clients during installations, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
    • Coordinate with Field Application Specialists (FAS) to ensure patient validation and workflow updates.
    • Establish online communication with the Laboratory Information System (LIS), ensuring seamless data exchange.
  • After-sales:
    • Monitor and document the configurations of installed systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Provide remote 'Hotline' service and on-site support, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
    • Offer telephone support, addressing customer queries and concerns.
    • Collaborate with FAS on workflow updates and validation tasks, ensuring continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with Field Service Engineers (FSE) on corrective actions, providing IT support and ensuring minimal downtime.
    • Coordinate with FSE on software updates of installed equipment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
    Requirements
    • University degree or equivalent in IT engineering or a related field.
    • Advanced certificate in electronics/IT or equivalent industry experience.
    • Technical knowledge of electronic/IT equipment, preferably in the IVD industry.
    • Proficiency in PC tools and software applications.
    • Fluent Italian and English language skills.
    • 3-5 years of experience managing technical teams in the IVD industry, including direct customer contact.
    • Self-motivation and ability to work under stressful situations.
