Job Description

AAR Corp. is a leading aerospace and defense aftermarket solutions company seeking an experienced F-16 Avionics Specialist. This position is located at Aviano AB, Italy, and involves depot-level modification, upgrade, and test of aircraft sub-systems ensuring airworthiness.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in avionics or electro-environmental maintenance. F-16 experience is strongly preferred, but other fighter jet experience may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modifies, upgrades, inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs aircraft avionic and electrical systems.
  • Inspects components of avionic and electrical systems for defects and accuracy of assembly and installation.
  • Tests avionic and electrical systems under simulated or actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
