Vodafone is seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence Technical Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the evolution of artificial intelligence in our fixed network solutions, focusing on customer fulfillment for PA customers.
Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership

Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience
- Programming Languages: Deep knowledge of PHP and Python.
- Database Management: Proficiency in data manipulation, including structured data tools (e.g., SQL) and unstructured data tools and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL).
- Artificial Intelligence: Advanced skills in artificial intelligence, particularly in machine learning and generative AI. Knowledge of machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, H20) and fundamental techniques (e.g., clustering, regression, time-series analysis).
- Frameworks and Libraries: Familiarity with major frameworks and libraries for PHP, Python, and AI.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in software development roles, preferably in AI-related contexts.
Must Have Technical/Professional Qualifications
- Deep Knowledge of IP-Networking: CISCO certifications or equivalents are preferred.
- Knowledge of IT Process Development: ITIL certification is preferred.
- NP Procedures: According to regulatory constraints (optional).
- Engineering Degree or Equivalent: Required.
- 3 Years on Tech Companies/Software House: Required.
Key Performance Indicators
- Compliance with PA Activation Plans.
- Compliance with SLA on Customer Activation and GNP for PA.
- Technical NPS and Delivery Quality Indicators for PA.
