Occupational Therapist

**Job Title:** Occupational Therapist - Skilled Rehabilitation Specialist

**Job Summary:

Sunset Lake Health and Rehab is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our skilled rehabilitation team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

**Responsibilities:**

• 
  
• Screen, examine, and evaluate residents to establish a diagnosis and develop an individualized plan of care
  
• Develop treatment goals and methods in collaboration with residents and caregivers
  
• Implement treatment plans and document services provided
  
• Supervise assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support staff as needed
  
• Attend and contribute to resident care, staff conferences, and other related meetings
  
• Consult with and make referrals to other disciplines and agencies as needed
  
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure residents and families receive high-quality care
  

**Requirements:

• 
  
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  
• Valid Florida professional license by discipline
  
• Prefer at least one year of experience in long-term care, but qualified new graduates will be considered
  
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
  
• Passionate about post-acute rehabilitation and the older adult population
